Silvis man arrested for possession of child pornography

A Silvis man was arrested for possession of child pornography.
On February 21, Illinois State Police (ISP) agents executed a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of 11th St. in Silvis. Evidence of child pornography was gathered, and ISP agents took Robert Azbell, 38, into custody and transported him to the Rock Island County Jail.
Azbell was charged with three counts of possession of child pornography (Class 2 felony) and five counts of dissemination of child pornography (Class X felony). No further information will be disseminated.
