Greeny is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees in the United States. He was born in Greenville, South Carolina, on May 24, 1991. He went to Effingham High School in Effingham, Illinois, before attending the University of Louisville, where he was a member of the Louisville Cardinals' baseball team. As someone who grew up in a family with three siblings, he had to be competitive at everything he did. This taught him to be a fighter in life. He has an attitude that many would envy. Greeny, a right-handed pitcher, got his opportunity to become a professional baseballer when the Detroit Tigers selected him in the eleventh round of the 2013 edition of the MLB Draft. He debuted in the minor leagues with the GCL Tigers. He's also played for the Lakeland Flying Tigers, the West Michigan Whitecaps, and the Erie SeaWolves. After having to move to the Yankees following a trade in December 2015, he pitched for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, the Triple-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, before making it to the majors. The Yankees gave him his debut in MLB on May 16, 2016, against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He's remained with the New York-based team since then.
