Protest outside Bett Plex

An informational protest today outside of the TBK Bank Sports Complex, formerly known as the Bett Plex, by a local union organization.
Local 150 and Ryan and Associates Company have had a 47-year bargaining relationship before things went sour recently.
After several months of the two trying to strike a deal, the union and the construction company couldn’t, so Ryan and Associates looked elsewhere for workers.
The union feels as though there’s been little effort to negotiate, and that they had no choice but to take action.
Local 4 News has reached out for comment from both sides.
