Michael Stenger’s death has sparked conspiracy theories.

After the brief information about Michael Stenger’s death, many netizens speculated on the cause of his death. The committee investigating the attack on Capitol Hill (which occurred on January 6, 2021) is expected to hear testimony from Cassidy Hutchinson on Tuesday, June 28. Hutchinson, according to sources, will be official person. The White House testified for the first time about the January 6 attack on the US Capitol.

However, conspiracy rumors about Stenger’s death increased when the unexpected witness and her testimony were revealed on Monday, just a day before the unscheduled hearing. According to the New York Times, Michael Stenger and Paul Irving, who were also US Army Sergeants at the time, declined the Metropolitan Police’s request for further assistance. Prior to the January 6 attack, the Metropolitan Police are said to have requested the deployment of the National Guard on standby.

Meanwhile, Irving alleges that the Metropolitan Police did not seek further assistance until the attack went smoothly. According to Newsweek, this claim appears to be false, as shown in the phone records.

Following Michael Stenger’s death, numerous tweets sought to link to Cassidy Hutchinson’s hearing on the Capitol Hill Riots on Tuesday. Some even allege Stenger’s earlier testimony. Stenger described the event as “a brutal, organized attack whose loss of life could have been much greater” in his February 2021 testimony. In addition, he stated:

“There is still time to learn from the events of January 6… Investigations are needed into the finances and movements of what appears to be professional agitators.”
