Isabella Scavelli Obituary News: Three arrested in alleged murder-for-hire conspiracy in death of Hernando High School student
Sheldon Robinson, Keshawn Woods and Lenard White Arrest & Charges: Three arrested in alleged murder-for-hire conspiracy in death of Hernando High School student.
In relation to a $10,000 murder-for-hire plot, four individuals are accused of killing a teenage girl in Florida after she reported to authorities that she had been sexually raped by a male.
Two men are accused of shooting and killing Brooksville resident Isabella Scavelli, 17, on February 7. The day before, she had told the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) that she had been attacked by a man she knew, Lenard White. Following the teen’s door opening and the barrage of gunfire that followed, Scavelli’s mother was allegedly struck and gravely injured as well.
Currently, U.S. Attorney’s Office investigators in the Middle District of Florida claim that White hired Sheldon Robinson, 21, and Keshawn Woods, 22, to shoot Scavelli to death because the latter voiced her opinion.
At a news briefing on Thursday morning, investigators revealed that White had made Robinson an offer of roughly $10,000 to kill the teenager.
Robinson appeared to accept the number before brashly claiming he had a “clean up job” to complete and pleading for assistance on social media. The HCSO claims that he promised to help his accomplice by giving him $5,000 and cocaine. Investigators displayed a picture of the cash and cocaine that Robinson had shared on social media.
According to HCSO Sheriff Al Nienhuis, Scavelli was not involved in any “high-risk activity.” She was a nice child with a promising future, therefore it is heartbreaking to hear that her life was cut short. It’s beyond words to even describe,” Nienhuis remarked.
According to Nienhuis, Robinson’s home had ammo that matched the gun used in killing the teen.
