However, now that things have gone too far and Souma had to be hospitalized due to the stress she caused him, he came to a realization; if this continues, he will die. The last pin was him standing for her in the rain while she made fun of her with two of her friends who had bet he won’t move from his place.

It was just another day for Souma when her childhood friend-turned-girlfriend reduced him in private. Souma was on his bad and going over his life decisions, and he decided he had enough. If she thinks he is unworthy, then they should break up. These were his words before throwing her out of the room. The moment she is out, Souma thinks about what he needs to grow out of the influence she had on her all this time. And his first decision is how everyone looks at him in the school.
