How to Earn Virtue in Like a Dragon: Ishin

In recent years, Yakuza series has become more and more popular among western audiences. While most of them are set in modern-era Japan, the studio behind the game decided to go back this time and try a more historical Japan rather than a modern one. The result of that was the remake of Like a Dragon, which was released exclusively in Japan in 2014. In Like a Dragon: Ishin you can use Virtue to upgrade almost anything in the game, and here is how to earn it in the game.
How to Earn Virtue in Like a Dragon: Ishin
As you progress through the story of the game, you will eventually end up meeting and reducing Shinto Priest from bandits. After saving him, you will go to a shrine with him where he explains how Virtue works, and afterward, you can earn Virtue.
Virtue can be used to upgrade almost anything. You can upgrade your sprint, fishing skills, inventory, and farming. The good thing about Virtue is that you can earn it by doing anything.
For instance, you can go fishing and for each fish, you catch you will get 10 Virtues. Praying will get you 20, and Karoeke will get you 30. There are also other activities that will give you more Virtues like completing substories or improving your friendship that will give you 300 and 150 Virtues respectively.
But there are methods that you can use to increase your Virtue earning more. The first one is to upgrade your Virtue Cultivation from the Virtue panel. You can do this five times, and it will increase your Virtue earnings by 10%. It will have a huge impact on completing main and side quests.

Also quite early in the game, you can complete a sub-story outside of the barracks for an elderly couple and their dog. Completing it will reward you with Double Pray Talisman, which increases Virtue earning from praying by 400%. So basically you will get 100 Virtues each time you pray after obtaining this talisman.
