By Matthew Martinez
An Iowa company celebrated the opening of a new store in the Quad Cities by giving away thousands of dollars.    Theisen’s Home Farm and Auto opened its 23rd store. The company also awarded nearly $50,000 in grants to 21 non-profit groups during the Ribbon cutting ceremony. Employees and manager Jim Gabel say they’re glad to be in business.    “It’s very exciting, it’s a great thing to be here in the Quad Cities Theisen’s been looking at this market for a long time, finally found the right opportunity, the right location so we’re glad to be here, glad to be open.”   The store spans 90,000 square feet and the grand opening is Thursday and runs through Sunday.
