DJ Bonez Birth, Age and Career

While in school, George began creating four-track tapes and CDs for underground hip-hop scenes in the late 1980s. By the age of 17, he had mastered the skill of mixing tracks and starting First to play in a club and to DJ first in venues across Australia.

Back in 2000, DJ George was the DJ for Hyjak N Torcha. He produced their full-length album in 2004 called Drastik Measures, Bonez’. It was nationally recognized and was the first Australian Hip Hop album to be selected as the Triple J album of the week.

In 2004, shortly after Muphin and Plutonic Lab formed a collaboration group called Muph & Plutonic, they toured with DJ Bonez and Obese Records founder Pegz in 2005, under the common name Milk Bar Stars.
