The Colorado native was born in Castle Rock and studied at the Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch. The punter excelled in track and field and basketball along with football. Rated very highly in the nation at the time, he'd go on to attended Stanford just like his folks. The WR took part in their football program and, in his sophomore year, won the AP College Football Player of the Year Award. 2015 was a breakthrough year for him, and the recognition he received was well noted by everyone. Two years later, in 2017, he received an invitation to participate in that years' Draft. Satisfied with his pre-draft drills, the Carolina Panthers picked him up in Round 1 as the 8th overall player, where he has continued to impress everyone ear after year.
