V Rising: How to Find and Defeat Polora the Feywalker

By Rachel Davis

Walking around V Rising’s world can get really tiresome at times. For that reason, a normal player would love to use the fast travel system to get around quicker. But how do you do that? The game has an interesting mechanic where the vampire can start constructing new buildings by slaining powerful bosses. To start fast traveling in V Rising, you just need to defeat Polora the Feywalker. Who is that, and where can you find her? Find all the answers to these questions below.

Location of Polora the Feywalker

V Rising Gleaming Meadows

The Blood Altar will show precisely where to find the boss. You can build it in your castle and start tracking her from there. The player can skip all this and start their adventure by exploring the Gleaming Meadows, as shown in the picture above. The Altar will help by showing the exact location since she can be in different places around the area.

Since this happens in the Farbane Woods, you can generally expect weak foes around the meadow.

Defeating Polora the Feywalker

In V Rising, Polora the Feywalker is a level 34 V Blood that should be easy enough to beat for an experienced vampire. This boss doesn’t necessarily provide a challenge if your equipment is up to date. Some though might need more details, so here are some of her unique abilities:

Wisp ConeSends three wisp projectiles in a cone area in front of her. She uses it very often throughout the fight.
Spectral WolfSummons a spectral projection of a wolf that charges the hero. It deals a lot of damage and can bounce off walls.
Ghost SurgeAn AOE attack that inflicts the fear status on the vampire.

After she’s been taken care of, the player will receive the Spectral Wolf and Veil of Illusion powers. You will also unlock the Vampire Waygate, which is needed for fast travel, and Golden Floors structure for your castle.

The Spectral Wolf ability is the same that Polora used during the battle, so you can see exactly how it works in action. The Veil of Illusion helps the user elude enemies with illusionary decoys that strike the adversaries with projectiles.

V Rising is currently available as an Early Access Game on PC through Steam.
