The Spinning Out Scene That Has Fans Scratching Their Heads

The issue at hand, as posed by Reddit user janinasheart, involves Kat, Justin, and her best friend Jenn (Amanda Zhou), and they wrote, "What I'm not buying is that Jenn didn't immediately text Kat the morning after she almost slept with Justin. Jenn was such an open book and basically told Kat everything so why not this?! And then she gets upset about Kat and Justin although she never really told Kat how she felt?! This show had a lot of drama but this is by far the most unrealistic thing that happened."
Reddit user popular-mechanics wholeheartedly agreed with the above statement and wondered why Jenn would not have told Kat about Justin, considering that Jenn seemed like she shared everything with Kat. Another issue both Reddit users have is how Kat also hid her disorder from Amanda, who gave absolutely no indication that she would have changed her opinions regarding Kat's struggles. Reddit user gothmangolacroix added, "I also don't get why Jenn didn't tell Kat when she hooked up with Justin!" All in all, it seems that fans thought this turn of events simply added additional and unnecessary drama to the already drama-laden series, and it was uncharacteristic for both Jenn and Kat.
