On their brand-new 163-foot motor boat Home, Below Deck Mediterranean is taking everyone out to sea for some sea time. On July 11 at 8 p.m. ET, Bravo will debut the popular Below Deck franchise.

Along with Jason Gaskell and Mzi “Zee” Dempers, Storm Smith will make an appearance on the program and work at Home as a deckhand. Storm has been working on ships ever since she fell in love with sailing as a child. He describes himself as “a modern day pirate” because of his entire appearance, which includes a moustache and balding head.

Who is Storm Smith, a cast member of Below Deck Mediterranean?

Storm Smith grew up in South Africa, where he primarily spent his time at the beach. Previously, he mostly engaged in fishing or surfing. Soon after, he developed a fascination for ships and the seafaring way of life and decided to adopt a “modern day pirate” appearance.

He attempted to pursue careers unrelated to swimming, such as attending film school and culinary school, but he couldn’t get away from the seaside way of life. At the time, he began sailing and began teaching people how to “surf guide” in Sumatra. Since then, he has applied his skills that are focused on surfing and diving to a variety of boats and yachts.

He has prior expertise working in vessels up to 240 feet long, claims Bravo. He is a Cape Town resident. He is described as

When faced with drama, his defense strategy is to make fun of it, but when things get out of control, he has no problem seizing the reins.

Mzi claimed in his interview with E! News that he had known Storm since they were young children. He is currently in Italy to celebrate the birthday of his girlfriend Chloe Griffin. He still participates in a variety of dangerous hobbies, including diving, sailing, surfing, and trekking, according to his Instagram. In addition to Yosemite, Canouan, Saint Barta, and Saint Martin, he has also visited Kaaimanas, Zululand, and other popular tourist destinations.

He is a co-founder of The Dark Sea, a South African company that produces and markets jewelry for both sexes.
