America’s Got Talent celebrity Scott Alexander passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023, aged 52. Jenny Alexander, Scott’s assistant at the American talent show, announced her heartbreaking news. Jenny Alexander said in the description of her Instagram post:
“My spouse died yesterday. My children have lost their father. He died of a stroke while working on a cruise ship in St Kitts and never returned to us. We were devastated.”
Scott Alexander performed on America’s Got Talent as a magician and made it to the Quarterfinals.

As said earlier, the magician who died of a stroke was a participant in the sixth season of the popular American talent show. Scott tried his hand at “flying” magic in the first episode of America’s Got Talent season 6 (2011). He seems to make a woman appear out of nowhere, powered by water, and then levitate. Scott Alexander’s performance was unanimously accepted by a jury that included Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel, and he qualified for the Vegas Round. Scott was one of three magicians performing on stage in the first episode of Vegas Roud (the 11th episode of the sixth season), along with “Fantastic Fig and Cat” and Michael Turco.

Scott Alexander performed an illusion at the Vegas Roud in which a woman disappeared and reappeared after walking from one side of the circle to the other. He advanced to the Season 6 Quarterfinals after receiving unanimous approval from all the judges.
Scott Alexander appeared in week four of America’s Got Talent Season 6 Quarterfinals. Scott performed another magic trick, causing the gospel choir to disappear and reappear in the distance. Despite resounding applause from the audience in the backseat, Scott was unfortunately disqualified from the competition after his performance failed to garner enough votes.
Scott was featured on Penn & Teller: Fool Us season 2 alongside another America’s Got Talent (season 7) graduate, The Magic of Puck, after being dropped from AGT. After Scott Alexander’s death, Jonathan Goodwin, a former escapee and daredevil took to Twitter to express his feelings. Here’s what Goodwin said on Twitter:

Scott’s wife, Jenny Alexander, and their three children have survived him.
