Scarlett Spam Disclosed Her Age As Netizens Are Sharing Fake Information

Scarlett Spam (@scarlettsspam2) seems to be your average TikTok influencer, but she recently shot to fame on the short video site after her real age was revealed. Most fans assume influencers are between the ages of 15 and 25, however this idea has proven to be incorrect. The revealed creator’s age has surprised her fans, with some even claiming that Scarlett Spam lied about her age.

Scarlett Spam’s appearance is deceiving, many people assume that she is in her late teens or early twenties. According to her TikTok profile, the TikTok influencer is just entering her teens and is only 13 years old. Although this is Spam’s second account, it already has 1.4 million followers, after her old account was banned with 800,000 followers. She barely started posting content on her new account in January, but she got 19.3 million likes.
Her curated niche content on lifestyle, lip-syncing, and POV movies has resonated with her audience, with most of her videos receiving 4 million views or more. Her two most popular videos have 15.2 million views and 1.7 million and 1.2 million likes respectively. However, the latest discovery of Scarlett Spam’s age has only increased her popularity. Due to the rise of TikToker after this incident, some impostors have suggested that he is 13 years older. TikToker responded to these allegations in the comments section on March 29, calling them fake. She writes,
“If you ever [hear] “me” says anything about my age other than I’m 13, that’s not me.” that is [someone] impersonate me and spread fake news.”

When fans discovered that Spam was not a young man they imagined but a 7th grader, they were flooded with troll comments. Among the harsh comments, there were some who praised the 13-year-old influencer.
According to one user,
“I’ve never seen a 13-year-old get so much abuse, so always hold your head high.”
Another expressed surprise at her age, a feeling echoed by many, saying,
“There’s no way you’re 13 years old.”
A fellow video producer criticized commenters’ conflicting attitudes towards Spam before and after knowing her age, saying,
“They think you’re ‘overrated’, but they’re the ones who encouraged you in the first place, like- you’re adorable.”
Within three hours, the video was uploaded, and Spam’s TikTok addressing concerns about her age and warning her other admirers about the dissemination of misinformation had 500,000 views.
