Sarah Young’s spiritual writings have touched the hearts of millions, and her book “Jesus Calling” has garnered widespread acclaim, with over 40 million copies sold globally. Her devotional prayers have provided solace, guidance, and inspiration to readers from diverse backgrounds.
Sarah Young’s journey came to an end on Thursday, August 31, after a prolonged battle with chronic illness and Lyme Disease. The news of her passing was initially reported by Christianity Today and followed Publisher’s Weekly’s earlier report on the decline of her health.
We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Sarah Young, MTW missionary and author of “Jesus Calling” and numerous other devotionals. Sarah passed away peacefully yesterday afternoon, Aug. 31. The Memorial service will be held at Christ Pres Nashville at 1:50 on Sept. 9.
