Quad Cities Big Table results are in; "It's time to act"

By Rachel Davis

The Quad Cities Big Table brought together over 5,000 people over two days in April to talk about how every-day citizens could work together to improve the community.

The survey results revealed that people talked about issues including world-class education, equity and social inclusion, economic growth, bridging divides, arts and culture, and partnerships and collaboration.

Quad Cities Big Table director Greg Aguilar joins Local 4 News to share more.

“The biggest takeaway was that there are a lot of people in our community already doing amazing things,” said Greg. “Also, that it’s time to act. Many great ideas and observations came out of the Big Table, and we encourage everyone to take it upon themselves to create change and act.”
