Original vs. Cover- Holy Diver

I haven't ever been a RJD fan... so sue me haha.
The Killswitch version introduced that song to kids that probably would have never known Dio existed, so Ronnie should be stoked on that. That said, I don't think there's a ton of bands that can compete with KSE in a number of different ways. Originality, an ability to reinvent their sound when needed, one of the most over the top and intense live shows since Glassjaw was at the forefront.
As far as the actual song is concerned.. I don't know I'm a big fan of the more uptempo and exciting version the cover brings to the table.. And anyone that doesn't think Howard Jones can compete with Dio, is bat-shit crazy. He has one of the most incredible voices in metal today, with such a ridiculous range. I could just be more so personally invested now my tattoo artist is dating him ahahaha.
