Never Have I Ever season 3 episode 5 recap: How does Devi get back her vibe?

Our favorite teen drama, Never Have I Ever, is back on Netflix with a new season of drama. After the climax of season 2, season 3 started with Devi and Paxton in the relationship of her dreams. But things aren’t as good as Devi thought they would be.
Things don’t take long to go wrong in season 3, and once again, Devi is single and has a broken heart. The good news is that she is getting better. What will happen to her in the future?
In Never Have I Ever, Devi puts herself out there
In the fourth episode of season 3 of Never Have I Ever, Devi met a new guy she liked, and he seemed to like her back. She hopes Nirdesh, also known as Des, will text her after the party, but it looks like she’s being ghosted. Devi decides to go to the charity event that Eleanor says is the hottest event of the year. She wants to get her mind off of things and enjoy being single. Devi needs to learn how to flirt better and change her vibes.
Ben accidentally ruins Devi’s plans to flirt with guys all night and kiss them when he calls her out. Ben and Devi fight again, this time over words. Ben makes fun of Devi, realizing that her chances aren’t good because most of the guys there were gay or were forced to come by their girlfriends. Ben, on the other hand, was doing well because the girls in the drama club were there to hook up with boys. Alejandro, who is awkward and doesn’t have a date, seems to be Devi’s only choice, but she doesn’t want to kiss him. But soon, things will be different.
Does Devi get her vibe back in Never Have I Ever?
Still, Fabiola and Annesa can’t find the spark that brought them together in the first place. Also, neither of them is brave enough to say that they like the other. Paxton comes to Fabiola’s aid and shows her how to ask Annesa out and make her fall head over heels in love with her. At the end of the event, Fabiola decides to try her luck, but before she can, Annesa asks her out herself.
In other news, Devi still doesn’t want to have to kiss Alejandro. He goes up on stage, plays his guitar, and sings a song while she talks about it. The nerd with the big square glasses is all of a sudden the hottest guy in the world, and Devi decides to “suck his face.”
Devi walks up to Alejandro and pulls him away for a kiss. When the lights come on, she looks at his dorky face with braces and all of his charm goes away. He asks Devi to be his girlfriend, but she backs out.
As the night ends, Ben and Devi meet again. Ben hooked up with a drama club girl while Devi kissed the nerd. But the good news is that Devi was able to get her vibe back, and now people can see her more.
