MTV’s Are You The One? Season 7: Where Are They Now?

With Season 9 of the popular reality dating show Are You The One? still awaiting a release date, chances are pretty high that the show will make a return sometime in late 2022. One of the most fascinating aspects of the reality show moving forward will be how the transition from MTV to Paramount+ will affect the format and salacious nature of the series while still delivering everything fans have come to expect.

As fans await word of a potential Season 9 air date, now is an opportune time to check in with the cast of seasons past and see what they’re up to, especially since the show has been off the air since 2019. Few casts were as memorable as Season 7 and the cute couples that emerged, so it’s only right to start with where they are in 2022.

Cali & Andrew

Although it took until the final two weeks of the competition to realize they were a perfect match, Cali Trepp and Andrew Couture paired up to help their cast win the $1 million prize. However, more aligned due to strategy than real romance, the two split once the show was over. The split gave Cali time to pursue her real romance, Thomas Buenos, who also competed in Season 7 and sat next to Cali four times during match-ups. Per Cali’s Instagram, she and Thomas got married on June 24, 2022.

Nowadays, Andrew has relocated from Massachusetts to Boca, Florida, where he completely made over his now unrecognizable image by hitting the weights and improving his physique. While he’s yet to make an onscreen appearance since the show, Andrew has definitely made positive strides since competing for love. According to Andrew’s Instagram, he found a new romance in 2022!

Brett & Nutsa

Brett Ferri and Nutsa Sikharuildze sat together in five out of 10 weeks before being revealed as Perfect Matches in the Season 7 finale. In addition to continuing to work as a personal trainer, Brett recently became a proud uncle to a niece named Pamela, who he continually beams about on Instagram. The New York native has had quite the summer traveling California’s sunny coastline from Santa Monica to Malibu.

As for Nutsa, she continues to excel as a business executive after becoming a Product Development of Merchandising for Web3 following her time on the show. According to her Instagram, Nutsa has also leaned into her modeling career, having completed a photoshoot in Los Angeles in 2022. Despite her relatively private life, Nutsa influence continues to be felt, amassing more than 127K followers on just 25 posts.

Cam & Bria

Cam Viney and Bria Hamilton had no idea they were a Perfect Match until the finale of the popular reality dating show. Immediately splitting after the show, Cam continued to pursue his law degree and found employment as a Notes Editor for the West Virginia Law Review in 2020. Now living in Pittsburgh (per his Twitter account), Cam told WVU that he plans on joining the law firm Reed Smith after graduation.

Daniel & Jasmine

Daniel Vilk and Jasmine Rodriguez also found out they were a Perfect Match in the final episode. Since splitting after the show, Daniel continues to work as a lifeguard and enjoyed recent vicarious brushes with marriage when his brother recently got hitched and his childhood friend held a bachelor party in Ibiza in 2022 (per Instagram). Alas, he’s currently single.

Despite sitting together in week 2, Kwasi Opoku and Lauren Roush weren’t revealed as a Perfect Match until the finale of the beloved reality dating show. After the show, Kwasi appeared on the dating game show Singled Out in 2019. Nowadays, he continues to earn a living as a professional model. Kwasi still currently resides in New Jersey (per Instagram).

As for Lauren, the former Miss West Virginia keeps a private social media profile although continues to stay active by curating content for her dedicated followers. Lauren is believed to be currently single and still living her best life in West Virginia.

Lewis & Samantha

Lewis Belt and Samantha McKinnon began and ended the guilty-pleasure reality dating show together as Perfect Matches, yet spent zero time together in between. Moe & Kayla

Moe Elkhalil and Kayla Umagat found their stride in week 8 and became Perfect Matches by week 10. No longer together, Moe currently works as the owner of Mohammed El-Khalil Insurance Agency in Texas, recently posting on Instagram about his inspiring professional goals. Maturing more than most since his time on the show, Moe may not have time for romance right now.

As for Kayla, the Seattle native continues to travel back and forth to Los Angeles to pursue her modeling career after years as an NFL dancer for the Seattle Seahawks. Shamoy & Maria

Shamoy Persad and Maria Elizondo were declared the first Perfect Match in Season 7. Alas, things soured when Nutsa revealed Shamoy already had a girlfriend in the outside world. Nowadays, Shamoy has yet to launch his dream clothing line but continues to work as a professional model in Los Angeles, a long way from his home in the Virgin Islands. Most believe Shamoy is currently single.

After appearing on Are You The One?, Maria appeared on Double Shot of Love With DJ Pauly and Vinnie in 2019. In 2022, she serves as a social media influencer and brand ambassador for Pretty Little Thing. Currently single, Maria just enjoyed a vacation in the Dominican Republic (per Instagram).

Tevin & Kenya

After spending all but one week together, Tevin Grant and Kenya Scott were declared the second Perfect Match. Alas, in the reunion episode, the couple revealed that it had split. However, the couple reconciled when appearing together in season 3 of Ex on the Beach in 2019. Now permanently separated, Tevin works as a Creative Director for his own brand of content curation and gives motivational “Tev-Talks.”

As for Kenya, she parlayed her appearance on the show into a successful career as a makeup artist currently based in Los Angeles. Fans can book her for a facial makeup appointment or, like Maria, find her on Instagram promoting the Pretty Little Thing fashion brand.

Asia & Thomas

Asia Woodley and Thomas Buenos were declared a Perfect Match in the final episode of the acclaimed reality dating show, spending zero nights together beforehand. Thomas’ whereabouts in 2022 have already been accounted for, having recently gotten married to fellow Season 7 cast member Cali on June 24, 2022.

According to her Instagram, Asia just completed her 27th vacation trip around the sun, expressing how rejuvenated she’s felt during her travels. By all accounts, Asia is still looking for love while pursuing her on-air broadcasting dream and continues to earn a living as a model in the interim.

Morgan & Zak

Morgan Fletcher and Zak Jones spent five straight weeks together before being revealed as a Perfect Match. While not much is known about Morgan on social media, she does have a Cameo account that fans can follow.

Meanwhile, according to The Cinemaholic, Zak got married to a woman named Ali following his time on the show and currently has one daughter. While his Instagram profile is private, Zak has clearly shed the bad boy image in order to settle down in domestic life. Hopefully, the remaining singles from Are You The One? Season 7 can find a similar outcome soon.
