We’re over halfway into 2023, and there have already been multiple celebrity breakups. Apparently, in 2023, love was not enough for some of the biggest names in Hollywood.
This year saw heartbreak come in all forms, from unexpected Hollywood A-list splits to K-pop power couples.
This wasn’t just a year of goodbyes. Amidst the tears, there were sparks of new beginnings. While IU and Lee Jong Suk became the new power couple in the K industry, Taylor Swift fell in love with Travis Kelce.
The following is a list of significant celebrity breakups in 2023 that shocked fans, who had assumed these couples would remain together.
1. Mia and Gondon Thornton
The stars of “Real Housewives of Potomac,” Gordon Thornton and Mia Thornton, declared their divorce on September 29.

Morris is also requesting the establishment of a permanent parenting plan in addition to joint custody of their young son, Hayes.

12. Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert
