Mohit Pandey was born on 10 November 2001 in Belhaura, Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh. He is an Indian Priset, and one of the chief puraris to serve at the Ram Mandir, Ayodhya. His uncle was a scholar of Vedas, so Mohit followed his steps from a very young age.
He filled out the application form for priests in the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. Around 3000 applications were filled and he was one of the selected candidates in the top 200. After that, he gave an interview conducted at Karsevak Puram.
After the interview, Mohit was selected among the top 20 candidates including Jaykant Mishra, a Hindu preacher, and Satyanarayan Das, Nandini Sharan, and two mahants of Ayodhya.
