MidAmerican job fair this week

Looking for work?  MidAmerican is hiring.

MidAmerican Energy Company is looking for individuals eager to learn new skills and who enjoy helping people as it continues to hire new customer service associates at its Davenport call center.

Individuals interested in joining MidAmerican Energy’s team are invited to attend a job fair on May 11 from noon to 7 p.m. at the iWireless Center, located at 1201 River Dr. in Moline, Illinois. Attendees are encouraged to bring their resume.

The company anticipates hiring up to 24 positions in June and October. The positions are full-time, temp-to-hire jobs. Applicants are hired by Manpower and enter into MidAmerican Energy’s 14-week training program. Upon successful completion of the program, individuals are hired as full-time employees of the company.

We also provide our customer service associates all the right skills to meet our customers’ needs.”

Starting pay in the training program is $12 per hour, with an increase to more than $15 per hour plus benefits if hired as a full-time employee.
