Michael C. Reuter Obituary, Resident Of Madison, Wisconsin Passes Away
We regret to inform you of Madison, Wisconsin resident Michael “Mike” Reuter’s demise. He passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at the age of 67. Mike gently died of natural causes at home. On August 8, 1956, he was born in Madison, WI, to Ronald and Barbara (Conlin) Reuter.
Mike had been a longtime resident of our neighborhood and a graduate of Madison East High School. Along with managing a small computer firm with his brothers, he worked as an accountant.
Whether he was playing MSCR softball, coaching Little League, or seeing his kids and grandkids play, baseball was his passion.
His ability to lead Kennedy Little League to the 2006 Senior League World Series, where they faced international teams, was the pinnacle of his coaching career. Mike was devoted to the Dream Lanes Moonlight Bowling League while he wasn’t playing on the diamond.
His siblings Randy (Theresa) Reuter, Susan (Randy) Counselman, Thomas (Elizabeth) Reuter, Terry (Janet) Reuter, and Jeff (Stacey) Reuter are among his survivors. His grandchildren include Jessica, Andrew, Alexander, Jack, Sam, Tate, and Larkin.
Ronald and Barbara, Mike’s parents, passed away before him.
On Sunday, January 7, 2024, at 12:00 p.m., Ryan Funeral Home, 2418 N. Sherman Ave., Madison, WI, will host a Celebration of Life. At noon, the visitation will start.
