Maseki Gurume: Mamono No Chikara O Tabeta Ore Wa Saikyou! Chapter 48 will have Ain travel to the capital with Marco. The recent chapter hinted that there is something big about to take place in the upcoming chapters. Moreover, Ain also had a short training arc where he learned valuable lessons about the sword, the ways he couldn’t have otherwise.

If anything, it shows how much Ains is blessed by the world despite everything he went through, cementing himself as the protagonist of the story. And although it was clear when the story started, seeing it in action is always nice in these kinds of stories. And seeing him develop out of his shell from his former life also makes his stories compelling.

We saw him going from being the chosen one in another world to a King in the making. He overcame many trials and has gotten much more powerful since; however, he is still not strong enough to face the strongest of foes yet. Plus, the intertwined history of many characters is coming to light with the coming chapters, and the task of solving them is up to Ain.

Maseki Gurume: Mamono No Chikara O Tabeta Ore Wa Saikyou! Chapter 47 had Ain go through training under one of the former sword masters. And this one is so strong that he would think of Ain as a kid no matter what he said, and when the two fought, it became clear why that was.

No matter how much Ain tried, his attacks wouldn’t land on the man who was less than a beast. Ain couldn’t beat him even in dreams, and he had Dullahan on him to protect and even help him go wreckless. Despite that, Ain got to learn that an accomplished person like him is not easy to defeat, but he didn’t accept it.

And it was his tenacity that led him to learn more from the man as he endowed a new technique to him. However, this was not all that was happening; we learn that in the waking world, there was an interesting discovery. A discovery that would lead to Ain becoming stronger in the future with the path he is on.
