Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 248: Release Date & Recap

☰ KEY HIGHLIGHTS▪ Sukuna acknowledges Higuruma's existence and remarks his talent on same on his own.▪ Higuruma passes his sword onto Yuji as the latter swings the sword to stab Sukuna.▪ Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 248 will reveal a lot of things including what can the sword do to Sukuna.
It has been more than 30 chapters since the fight between Sukuna started, and ever since that, we have seen him kill three of the sorceres in the fight, including Gojo Satoru. Higuruma was his latest victim, but he has passed something on, much like Gojo at least taking away Sukuna’s Ten Shadows Cursed Technique.
The latest chapter of the series was indeed learning up to something big regarding Higuruma as he had planned to do something against Sukuan for sure. The latter also remarked how amazing Higuruma actually is as it had only been 2 months since his awakening as a sorcerer, but he has gone up to lengths.
But too bad he is against someone like Sukuna but he is also the reason that Higuruma had to push himself to become his best version to fight the tyrant. However, even though Higuruma is talented and filled with potential, too bad he isn’t the protagonist, and much like Gojo, his responsibility is to pass on the torch to make the main character, Yuji, come out on top.

The latest chapter ended with an amazing cliffhanger as we finally saw Sukuna being stabbed by the executioner’s sword, and it was Yuji who did. The verdict for this stab still has to be concluded, and thus, fans await to see what is going to happen in the next chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen.

Recap And Review
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 247 continued with the current battle, where we see Sukuna praising how amazing Higuruma is and his talent is as good as his. But this is as far as he goes, and Sukuna continues to go after attacking him and testing him further.
Yuji comes in between to help Higuruma as he is worried about not letting Higuruma be alone however, Sukuna easily fends him off and even mocks him that he is not worth it. As Higuruam tries to stab Sukuna with his sword, Sukuna chants, and lands a heavy dismantle attack on him.
This results in Higuruma losing his right hand, and Sukuna tells him to heal himself. Higuruma’s dialogue reveals how even though he is prepared to lose his life, everything still pains him. Sukuna warns Higuruma once more to heal himself using the Reverse Cursed Technique as he cuts his other hand.
Suddenly gets distracted by the Piercing Blood Technique by someone anonymous, which Higuruma uses to heal his right hand and even stabs Sukuna on his hand, but it is revealed to be his hand only. Sukuna says that this is how far he will go and lands another heavy attack on him, but before Higuruma falls down, we see him pass his sword to Yuji, who stabs him in the back.

Release Date And Where to Read
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 248 will be featured in the 8th issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine 2024, which is set to be released after a break in the upcoming issue on Monday, January 15th, 2023, at midnight Japanese Standard Time.
Whereas, the spoilers for the chapter will be out by a few days prior to its release, and we can expect it to be released by Wednesday, January 10th, 2024.
