Her first leading role came to her in 1997 when she bagged the role in a television film, Rose Hill. Over time, Garner managed to establish herself as a successful figure in the industry. Fans have been able to spot the actress in the Fox series Time of Your Life, in the war drama Pearl Harbour, in the thriller series Alias, The Adam Project, Daredevil, and in her recent work, The Last Thing He Told Me.

The actress, throughout her time in the industry, has dated men from the field and those out of it as well. She has not been shy in talking about her dating life, though fans have realized that a happy love life seems to be out of reach of Garner.

Scott Foley

Garner’s first-ever public relationship that made headlines was with her Felicity co-star, Scott Foley. The two were revealed to have gotten together to date each other in 1999, a year after the movie was released, and one year seemed to be enough for the couple to decide to get married, which they ended up doing on October 19th, 2000.

Their fire died pretty quickly, and only three years of marriage later, the two announced their divorce to fans. This divorce was finalized on March 30th, 2004, and the two parted ways forever. While addressing her five-year relationship with Scott, Garner told fans that while the guy was good, the two just happened to be different people.

Michael Vartan

Not long after Garner’s relationship with Foley came to an end, rumors of her hooking up and possibly dating French actor Michael Vartan sparked up. The two worked together for six years on the show Alias, and the actress ended up confirming their relationship as well.

News of the two splitting up came out sometime in 2004, and that was the end of their story. They continue to be best friends, wishing each other on their birthdays, further confirming that they were good friends first and that their romance came after.

Fans first spotted Garner and Affleck together in the war drama film Pearl Harbour, which came out in 2001, after which they got together again for Daredevil in 2003. Their relationship was made public in 2004, and after some time together, Affleck ended up falling in love hard enough to court the actress.

The two tied the knot and even brought a lovely daughter into the world, all in 2005. They ended up having another daughter in 2009 and a son in 2012.

The sad news of their separation was announced only a day after their tenth wedding anniversary, and as unfortunate fans thought it was that their thirteen-year-long relationship would be ending, they revealed their plans of being good friends to each other and great parents to their kids.

The two have said time and again that they completely love each other and their kids, but some things just are not right for them. The divorce was finalized in 2018, and things officially ended, though they continue to co-parent their kids, being thoroughly involved in their lives.

John Miller

The same year that Garner and Affleck’s divorce was finalized, the confirmed news of the former dating a successful businessman, John Miller, was made public. The two continue to share a healthy and loving relationship and continue to date.

The two faced some hiccups in their relationship and split ways in late 2020, but eventually decided to give their relationship another try. Very recently, the actress revealed that things were flowing smoothly and that she was completely in love with the man, and even saw a long time relationship with him.
