But, the tragedy he experienced later in life reduced his ardent supporters to tears. Though it did get darker, the WWE world first encountered Rick Boogs at that time, thus his resemblance to WWE hallway’s greatest champion made admirers want to know whether these two are connected to one another because they have the same physique, mustache, and chuckle.

Who Is Ravishing Rick Rude?

After making many successful appearances in World Class Title Championship, Rude debuted in WWE in 1987, briefly stopping the WWE universe. He quickly incurred the wrath of the WWE Crowd when he yelled “quiet” while stripping off to reveal his enormous figure and mocked what he perceived as their lack of physical fitness.

Just before Rick Rude died of heart failure in 1999, his wife discovered him unconscious. He experienced a cardiac arrest spurred on by a drug overdose, which was discovered during an autopsy. He passed away at the surprisingly early age of 40, startling the whole wrestling industry, and his passing is still recalled to this day.

Who Is Rick Boogs?

Originating in Franklin, another professional wrestler currently active is Rick Boogs. While his true name is Eric Bugenhagen, after he began competing for WWE, he quickly adopted the name Rick Boogs. Once in Franklin High School in the city of Franklin, he won a state championship, and that is when everything started to happen. After that, Bugenhagen began competing for the University of Wisconsin’s NCAA Division I wrestling team.

Bugenhagen participated in the NCAA Championships twice before quickly rising to the position of U.S. Olympic Trials candidate. Yet he was brought into WWE in the interim. He first made an appearance at King Nakamura’s side, bringing The King of ravishing style to the arena with his rocking style of music and electric mic talents. On stage, he captured the hearts of the audience with his charm.

Boogs defeated title Holder Dolph Ziggler and ex-Intercontinental King Apollo Crews with pinfalls by combining power, charm, and passion. Boogs made his comeback in January 2023, appearing on an edition of Raw as the latest addition to the WWE lineup before beating The Miz, following a nine-month layoff due to injury.

Is Rick Boogs Related To Rick Rude?

Simply put, Rick Rude and Rick Boogs are unrelated to one another. Despite the similarities of their names, the two wrestlers are unrelated to one another. Despite sharing a name and playing comparable games, the twin Ricks are completely unrelated. The sole connection between Boogs and Rude is their prowess at the sport.
