Iowa Wesleyan University auctions off school assets

After closing its doors for good, Iowa Wesleyan University started auctioning off materials from the university.
Backes Auctioneers will be holding online auctions this week, and the auction block will feature everything from dorm furniture and lab equipment to pianos and baseball-pitching machines.
The university’s board of trustees voted to close the school in March, due to rising operating costs, changing enrollment and dropping donations.
