Inside Manti Te’o’s 2022 net worth
Celebrity Net Worth estimates Te’o has a net worth of $3.5 million as of 2022. The linebacker, who played as a free agent, has amassed his fortune thanks to his professional football career.
During his time with the NFL, he played for major clubs such as the San Diego Chargers, New Orleans Saints, and Chicago Bears.
Born in 1991, Te’o played football at a private school in Hawaii and later college football at the University of Notre Dame.
During his time at the college, he recorded 437 total tackles and earned a number of awards, including the Maxwell Award, the Chuck Bednarik Award and the Butkus Award.
A look at his career earnings
Spotrac, which gives a breakdown of contracts and salaries, reports Te’o signed a four-year deal with San Diego Chargers for more than $5 million with a signing bonus of $2,141,768.
His reported average salary with the team was $1,293,105. The contract ran from 2013 to 2016.
From 2017 to 2018, Te’o was part of the New Orleans Saints and landed a deal for $5 million for two years. In 2019, the linebacker signed a one-year contract with the same team, although he didn’t play for a big part of the season.
Te’o became part of Chicago Bears’ practice squad in October 2020 before his deal expired in January 2021.
Who is his wife?
Te’o is married to Jovi Nicole Te’o. She graduated with a bachelors degree in business administration and management from Arizona University in 2007.
Jovi reportedly worked as a sales support specialist and is passionate about everything related to health, beauty and fitness. According to her bio, she is a “future nurse injector” and recently completed her fourth semester at a nursing school.
The couple married in 2020 and are parents to daughter Hiro. Te’o announced in a recent interview they are expecting a second child.
