Ice Spice appears to have a 'wardrobe malfunction' on stage that fans think was handled well
- Ice Spice’s Betty Boop outfit for Halloween in 2023 was in the news for more than one reason – an apparent “wardrobe malfunction” was one of them.
- The rapper chose a tiny red dress with her hair fashioned in a bob to complete her look.
- During the performance, her outfit appears to slide upwards, thus resulting in her flashing the crowd, but some fans think she “knew what she was doing.”
A lot of fans were inspired by Ice Spice‘s red curls and signature tracksuit, so much so that they turned it into their Halloween costumes. But, the singer ditched her usual look for a short black bob and a body-hugging dress. Even though it slipped from its position briefly, she didn’t let the minor setback deter her.
Ice Spice appears to have a ‘wardrobe malfunction’
Ice was on the stage performing at the iHeart Powerhouse 105.1 in New Jersey on Saturday night when she appeared to have a “wardrobe malfunction”, as noted by the videos going around on TikTok.
She took to the stage as “Wetty Boop” to deliver powerful vocals. Her costume was stunning, but the tiny red dress began to slide from its position with every move.
The rapper was seen adjusting her outfit quite nonchalantly throughout the performance, but when she squatted for one of her songs, the mini-dress almost slid up to her waist, resulting in her flashing the crowd for a moment.
But, Ice continued to perform, unbothered by the apparent ‘wardrobe malfunction’. Fans in attendance loved her performance.
Fans say ‘she knew what she was doing’
Fans argue the momentary lapse on the stage isn’t technically a ‘wardrobe malfunction’ because the rapper “knew” about it, and even if it were one, she handled it very well.
One fan said: “She knew what she was doing.”
“That’s not a malfunction, it was supposed to look like that,” added another.
A third user wrote: “Ice Spice had a wardrobe malfunction? Leave her be!”
Rapper has done this before
Ice has teased her audience with subtle flashing before as well, which is why many fans feel her no-so-explicit move during her recent performance is intentional.
She was on stage for Hot 97’s Summer Jam to celebrate hip-hop‘s 50th anniversary when her performance was met with similar reactions. At the time, she bent with her back facing the camera, subtly flashing the crowd.
However, that wasn’t the only highlight of the show because she was awarded her first Gold plaque as Munch had sold over 500,000 units in the United States alone.
