Honey Lacuna is a Filipino politician and doctor. She is now the first female mayor of Manila, the Philippines’ capital city. She ran under the local Asenso Manileno Party in the May 9, 2022 election, defeating five other candidates, including Atty. Alex Lopez and Amado Bagatsing.

She received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Santo Tomas, a doctorate in medicine from De La Salle University – Emilio Aguinaldo College, passed the physician board examination in 1992 and completed her residency training in dermatology at the Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center. She became a fellow of the Philippine Dermatological Society shortly after completing her dermatology residency study at the Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center.
