Government Bridge to close Feb. 2 for emergency repairs

The Government Bridge is about to embark on a major roundabout project, but first they must perform emergency repairs.
In a news release from the Rock Island Arsenal, the bridge will be closed for emergency road repairs on February 2 from 8:30 – 11 a.m. The closure will only impact vehicular traffic.
Signage will be used to warn and direct traffic during the repairs.
