Gabe Serbian’s Wife and Family

Gabe Serbian had been married to his childhood sweetheart since they were fourteen years old. “They initially met in 1995 when she was 14 years old,” his wife said in an interview.

Her family had lately relocated from New Hampshire’s “small town” to San Diego’s “shitty suburb.” “Gabe approached her in a thrift store and asked about my thoughts on his purchases,” she recalled of their first meeting.

They became fast friends and visit each other in the neighborhood record store every day after school. She detailed her encounter: “He’d pick out albums for me. He’d take me to watch shows on weekends. I’m pretty sure he gave me Bikini Kill’s All American Reject for my 15th birthday.”

Finally, in 2011, they married in Los Angeles.
