Today, Netflix publishes Our Father, a documentary film based on Donald Cline. It’s a true story of an Indiana reproductive specialist who utilized his sperm without his patient’s permission.
Jacoba Ballard of Indiana realized Dr. Donald Cline was her father in 2014, according to the Daily Mail. She also discovered she had four other half-siblings through Cline.

Dr. Donald’s sperm was used to conceive roughly 70-80 patients. One of his children, Jacob Ballard, took the first step toward a DNA test after discovering at least eight biological brothers and sisters.
As a result, she approached FOX59 journalist Angela Ganote and requested that she investigate Indianapolis reproductive specialist Doland. He had used his sperm to impregnate numerous patients since the 1970s, she later learnt.
Donald lost his medical license and had to pay a $500 fee as a result of the investigation.
