Chris Junior Hernandez 1990 said on 7/Apr/21@BT I always think David Schwimmer is a guy holding 184.5cm a low than saying 6’1, Simon Pegg is 5’8 3/4 but make Schwimmer look 6’0 1/2 and Jason Lee who look 3/4 over Schwimmer. I would have also rule out there is only 3-3.5cm between Perry and Schwimmer. Perry sometimes look 3cm lower which he could be 5’11.5″. Def 6’0.75″ is closer on Schwimmer if pull out a measuring tape. I guess Rob get fooled by Schwimmer smaller head size and high eye level which help him look a little taller when standing alone.

It’s all guessing until we’ve actually seen them get measured. I do think 5’11.25 and 5’11.5 are both very arguable figures for Perry, and Scwhimmer maybe closer to 6’0.75 than 6’1 if I had to pick one. I’m leaning more towards a 1.25″ or 1.5″ difference than 1.75″, most would argue anywhere in that range.

You see, I was just going through the Davids, and I noticed that the average one was just a smidgling below 5ft11! David Schwimmer is all of 2″ taller than this, with an impressively tall 6ft1! Come to think of it, most Davids I have known have been seriously tall people as well, reflecting the average celebrity David, but the nicest one I knew, who I met when I was 21, was only around 5ft7! Junior said on 2/Nov/17Damian Lewis is probably a legit 6’0 not 6’0.5″ while i have watch the whole episode of Band of Brothers so i define it for their height different within half inch and in Dream Catcher 6’1.5″ listed Jason Lee had about 1.5″ on Damian Lewis while Lee mostly look between 186-187cm maybe measure 187cm morning and hold strong 186cm and i recall a movie Schwimmer and Jason Lee did together in the whole film look an inch between them. So i highly doubt Schwimmer measure 6’1 in the morning and goes down at 6’0.5″ as the lowest.

I’d safely rule out 6ft flat. Personally I’d leave him at this mark and bump Perry up to 5ft11½ (he looks close to 6ft a lot). Matt LeBlanc could also be 5ft9½. In the early seasons Schwimmer could look 4in taller than him at times!

I was surprised how much he towers Cuba, though I have always thought Cuba Jr was more 177 range. Of course, he didn’t at all seem 4cm taller than David Caruso from what I recall, but this guy slouches a lot, and low angles on NYPD Blue may have favored Caruso(plus, 5ft11.75 peak not impossible for him. I think 185cm is fair, he could measure 184.5 at worst, but I think 185-185.5 low is realistic.

So, Schwimmer being considerably shorter than him is not a huge shock. That goes for any 6″1 range guy. – I havent seen the episode with John Allen Nelson. I know he’s listed at 6″1(185cm) and I remember him from Baywatch. He was maybe 2in shorter than Hasselhoff. So he could be 6″2-6″3?

Matt said on 22/May/13I’m currently watching ‘The One Where Nana Dies Twice’. There’s a scene in a hospital where Elliott Gould and Schwimmer stand up, side-by side, from a seated position. Gould clearly has a couple of inches on Schwimmer, and this was a more youthful, lean Gould than the later seasons. Now this site has Gould at 6’1, or a peak 6’2. If that’s the case, then the eyeball test on this episode would put Schwimmer at six feet, which actually seems about right. No shame in that — six feet is an underestimated height, and will look tall to most people. The reality is that Schwimmer never came close to measuring up against guys who were legitimately 6’2+, whether Gould, Selleck, John Allen Nelson, etc.

In Friends he frequently appeared no more than an inch taller than 5’11.5 (give or take a half inch) Matthew Perry, but then suddenly has at least 2 inches on 5’11.5 Bruce Willis and 5’11 Brad Pitt. He ranges anywhere from 6’0.5 to 6’2 in photos. I would guess that 6’1 is probably closest however.

If Selleck is a solid 6’4″, Schwimmer is between 6′ and 6’1″. Schwimmer actually looks like a former boyfriend of one of my sisters, very similar in height having seen him barefoot and he was a flat 6′. Personaly I think Schwimmer is more 6’0.5″. Clay, how tall do I think Le Blanc is? Having seen him barefoot next to Perry and Aniston, he is struggling with a solid 5’9″ I think. I think he is a very similar height to Sylvester Stallone barefoot, possibly 5’8.5″-5’9″. Don’t buy 5’9.5″ or over for him but he can strangely sometimes look 5’11” in his clumpy shoes (like Stallone). Remember the Elle Macpherson scenes? He wasn’t much shorter, not three inches. Either Elle isn’t a legit 6′ or something is wrong. He wears clumpy shoes to look taller, maybe he was wearing lifts in scenes with her? . Oh and stood next to 5’9″ listed Paul Rudd (who I thought was 5’10”) I could see Le Blanc at 5’9″-5’9.5″. I then found out that Rudd is only 5’9″ flat so Le Blanc has to be shorter as there was roughly 0.5-1 inch height difference between them. I would therefore estimate Blanc’s height at 174cm. If Rudd is more 5’9.5″ which I could elieve than a flat 5’9″ for Le Blanc would seme plausible. Either way Rudd was 0.5-1 inch taller than le Blanc stood side by side yet Le Blanc is listed as being 0.5″ taller than Rudd!! It is the other way round I swear!

Watch the scene in Friends where Tom Selleck and David Schwimmer are standing face to face and you can see their feet. There is roughly a 3.5 inch height difference between them. Anybody who thinks Schwimmer was a strong 6’1″-6’2″ compared to both Selleck and Gould is crazy. 6’1″ MAX +clumpy shoes = strong 6’2″ impression. Funny thing is Gould looked an easy 3 inches tall than Schwimmer even when he was wearing his standard clumpy shoes. My money’s on Schwimmer at 184cm, Selleck at 192cm.

Still I see Schwimmer at a weak 6’1″.

Doug said on 24/Apr/09I’ve been watching Friends lately on E4 and have been watching Schwimmer closely. The more I watch it the more I increasingly think he is little or nothing over 6 flat. He was dwarfed by Elliot Gould by some three to four inches, and was dwarfed by Tom Selleck by four to five inches if he was a legit 6’1″ the difference wouldn’t have been so great. I’ve seen a number of scenes with him in his socks and he looks exactly like a 6 dead on the mark guy, especially next to Selleck. I think his real height is 6’0 or 6’0.5″. I think he is 184cm and this adds up next to Walliams etc. Funny thing is before I learned of “Hollywood inches” I used to believe that he was 6’2″. The more you watch the more you can see he is 6 flat and clearly not 6’2″ compared to Gould and Selleck, this looks laughable. Remember in Friends he mostly had bouffed hair which makes him look taller. A weak 6’1″ is his max out of bed I reckon I bet he barely scrapes the 6′ mark by evening. I’d list him at 6’0″-6’0.5″. Interesting Ian I hadn’t seen Schwimmer next to the door panel. Yes it was me who left that comment on Sellecks page that he was an inch above the 6’3″ panel. Ian said on 17/Apr/09Schwimmer looked small with his shoes off in that episode with Selleck. I say he looks 6ft compared to the door. As others pointed out on Sellecks page, the top panel on the door is 6ft3 and that is where selleck reaches but Schwimmer is 3 inches short of that top panel of the door with his shoes off. With his shoes off Schwimmer he looks short and looks a pale version of himself with the shoes on which suggest he is getting some noticeable height increase via his footwear. No way is he 6ft2 or 6ft3 like Ace thinks. I think also 6ft1 is out of the question compared to other famous 6ft1 people like Jason Lee(6ft1.5 and people are debating him as shorter than this on his page), Schwimmer looks noticeably shorter.What has Schwimmer claimed himself?
