Davenport to swear in Mhisho Lynch as 7th Ward Alderman

Davenport will swear in a new alderman earlier than usual at City Council.
Mhisho Lynch will take the oath to serve the 7th Ward. Lynch won the seat in November for a term to begin in January. Lynch will be sworn in early because the current city council voted to remove alderman Derek Cornette for inappropriate behavior.
Lynch is a realtor and business owner, and this will be her first time holding public office.
