Despite the deep storyline, Nier Replicant is a hack-and-slash title. Therefore, most of the time, you will cut enemies using various weapons. The game has 33 weapons that you can buy or find while adventuring. And, of course, no matter which one you choose, you can beat the game with it. Therefore, each player will be able to find a suitable weapon in Nier Replicant, which by the way, is divided into 3 types:

  • One-handed Weapons – With this weapon, you will start your journey in Nier Replicant. It is very fast but deals little damage.
  • Two-handed Weapons – This is a heavy and slow weapon type that is great for groups of enemies and armored enemies.
  • Lance Weapons – These weapons are more powerful than one-handed and faster than two-handed weapons. Also, it has a good range but does not deal well with groups of enemies.
